Super Heros, Painting, and camp for Mommy
This week was a busy week because I volunteered at Camp Good Grief. This was my placement this year with The Junior League. It's a camp for children who have lost a loved one. I brought in my village to help out with the boys. In particular, my dad is just awesome. He helps us so much and loves my boys. This week Garrison had Pirate, Superhero, Ninja, Shark, and Lego camp. He had a blast and his best friend Charles was in camp with him. Everyday when I got home from camp the boys were ready for me to play, do play doh, paint, or tickle them - you name it. Love their energy!

Camp with Mommy - Dr. Seuss
Each summer our school offers several week long enrichment camps that are usually taught by teachers. Thus summer was my first one to teach. So another teacher and decided to teach a Dr. Seuss Camp for rising prek and jrk students. It was a lot of fun and one we hope to do every year. Garrison got to be in my camp too which was a lot of fun. I will say he was a lot more active than he usually is but I know he had a lot of fun. His best friend Charles did the camp with him too and they had a blast. I know these opportunities are so special and I am blessed to be able to teach my child. I wish I had taken more pictures. It was a fun and very busy week!

Sullivan's First Haircut
We waited until Garrison was over 2 years old for his first haircut. Sullivan's hair is a lot more curly and longer so we couldn't wait anymore. Naomi cuts all the hair in the family and she is wonderful. She just cut the ends and it looks great. Sullivan did very good for his first time. He loved his fish cape and wanted to leave it on and run around the salon. It's always an adventure with these boys!

4th of July Weekend
This year the 4th was on a Saturday so that meant Jon got off on Friday. We took full advantage of the 3 day weekend. Friday it was raining so we went to the Children's Museum. The boys had a blast playing in the fire trucks, grocery shopping, and fishing. That night we went to Mamo and Granddad Bob's house. Garison got to help Grandad Bob pick vegetables from his garden. Saturday it was raining but we took a chance and went to the zoo. The rain almost held off. Of course, we rode the train, boats, and carousel. We also fed the birds. Sullivan got the hang of it after a while but, still wanted to hold the stick upside down. We loved seeing the lions, reptiles, and aquarium. That night we went over to Gigi's house. Papa Buzz was there too. We had a great time. GiGi and Mommy even played a duet on the piano. The boys thought this was great - ha. After Sullivan went to sleep Garrison got to do fireworks. Next year, both boys will be doing them!! Having children lets you feel like a kid again. :)
